Stowe is a charming New England town with big-mountain skiing. With groomed cruisers to bump runs, & even some glade skiing, Stowe has it all. The infamous "Front Four" (Starr, Goat, National and Lift Line) are arguably the most exciting runs in the East. Stowe also boasts the longest average trail length in New England, so be prepared to spend some time on the mountain. While our trails are classic, our lifts are modern. Along with several doubles and triples, we've got a high-speed quad and a state-of-the-art eight person gondola that whisks skiers from bottom to top in a blazing seven & a half minutes.

West Virginia
Snowshoe Mountain

Snowshoe is the largest winter resort in the mid-Atlantic and Southeast. The resort is comprised of two distinct mountains, both of which are skiable on one lift ticket. Snowshoe boasts the highest vertical (1,500 ft) south of New England and features: 57 slopes and trails, halfpipe and terrain park, night skiing, and snow tubing. Snowshoe also has some fun college parties special college packages.

Mammoth Mountain

Driving along California's highway 395 on the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, Mammoth Mountain is impossible to miss: its 11,053 foot summit dominates the skyline as the highway moves from desert to forest. One look at Mammoth any time between October and June will be explanation enough for Mammoth's claim to skiing fame: the mountain gets an average of 385 inches of snow per year. The resort offers epic skiing and riding on 3500 acres of incredibly varied terrain, with 27 lifts and three terrain parks.
